Marty Heffner is a New York State practitioner who is trained in many wellness modalities. She is a:
- New York State Licensed Massage Therapist
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist
- Oncology Massage Therapist
- A Reiki Master and Teacher
- Esthetician
Marty offers therapeutic medical massage and Manual Lymph Drainage for clients dealing with Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Lyme, or Lymphedema. Marty feels that working deeply should not cause pain or discomfort, so she uses many methods. She uses cupping, warm stones, or other tools to offer deep work without discomfort.
A graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage, Marty has maintained a private practice in the Southern Tier of New York State since 2015.
Her extensive post-graduate work in Oncology Massage includes training in Manual Lymph Drainage and advanced courses in Caring for Clients with Cancer taught by Tracy Walton.
She grew up in Bath, NY, raised her sons in Massachusetts, and is now living in Corning, NY. Marty started her practice because many of her friends were dealing with breast cancer. She realized that no one was available to do massage therapy for people going through cancer (especially women dealing with breast cancer), so she decided to get the training necessary.
